Allan Lachapelle is the owner of Lachapelle Racing Products, an importer/distributor of offroad motorcycle parts. He also is a property manager of 350 acres of dirt bike trails and forests roads. In the winter Allan guides with SledNick in the Chic-Choc mountains in Gaspe.

For 24 years Allan raced Enduro’s and Harescrambles in Quebec and Ontario and had much success. 5X FMSQ #1 and 5X CMA #1 and 2 Silver Medals at the ISDE.

In 2007 he started sledding after not having a snowmobile for 18 years. He figured it would keep himself in shape during the winter months. It did not take long for him to get hooked and he found himself racing dirt bike in the summer to be in shape for snowmobiling in the winter. Allan says "dirt biking is awesome and I love all the experiences that I have had, however the thing that I love about sledding is that I am able to bring riders into much more technical situations and find ways to allow them to experience the same excitement that I am having. Doing this on a dirt bike usually is too difficult for most riders because they are restricted to the designated trail, where as on the snow there are so many different line choices that it gives everyone the opportunity to challenge themselves."
