Matt has been riding for over 25 years and has been obsessed with Polaris since he got his first XLT scale model toy. He grew up riding the woods, swamps, and fields of the Iron Range in northern MN on an Indy 440 and mowed lawns in the summer to save up to purchase his own sled at the age of 15. He took his first trip to West Yellowstone on a 2010 Switchback and became hooked on backcountry and crossover riding. Matt loves the feel of crisp cool air, the faint smell of 2 stroke smoke, and the sense of adventure that every snowmobile trip brings. He’s an active member of the Hamel Sno Runners and Northwest Trails Snowmobile Association of Minnesota.

Matt is passionate about keeping the sport of snowmobiling alive and well and getting others in the community involved in building the trail network around the Twin Cities metro. Matt is an Engineer by day and also enjoys sharing his passion riding the trails on weekends with his wife doing endless circles around the yard with his kids and their Polaris XC 120.
