Paul Mailloux

Ambassador

State: Ontario

Snowmobile: 850 Indy VR1 137

Favorite Place to Ride: Northern Ontario

After years of saving (and dreaming), Paul placed a Snow Check on his first sled in March of 1992. In September, he picked up his new Indy Starlite on his 11th birthday. Since that day, Paul has been hooked on sledding and Polaris. He loves the speed, exhilaration and freedom snowmobiling provides. He still cherishes the memories of riding with his father and uncle when he was young and now is very excited to be creating new memories with his own son and daughter.

Over the years, Paul has had the opportunity to own and ride a wide variety of Polaris sleds, from the lake-scorching XCR 800 triple/triple to the mogul conquering AXYS Switchback, and many things in between. He is fascinated by the history of snowmobiling, and enjoys going to snowmobile shows and restoring vintage Polaris sleds. Paul also oval raced a vintage sled in the Eastern Pro Tour for several years.

As a high school teacher, he is passionate about educating teenagers about all things snowmobiling, including sled safety, 2 stroke theory, sled maintenance, and snowmobile history. When Paul is waiting for the snow to return to Northern Ontario, he keeps busy by building hot rods, racing R/C cars, RVing, and touring the woods with his friends and family in his Polaris Ranger Crew.
