  1. What does the POLARISTAR Protection Plus Program cover?

    The POLARISTAR Protection Plus Program covers the repair or replacement of factory installed mechanical and electrical parts in the event of a covered mechanical breakdown.
    Please refer to a state-specific extended service contract for details and exclusions for your state.


  2. When does coverage on my contract begin?

    Coverage under this service agreement begins on the in-service date (original purchase date) of your vehicle. The expiration date is determined by adding the number of months of the term selected to the vehicle's in-service date.
    For example:
    In Service Date of Vehicle: 1/1/2011 Purchase Date of Service Contract: 5/1/2011. Agreement Term: 60 Months. Effective Date of Contract: 1/1/2011. Expiration Date of Contract: 1/1/2016.


  3. What are the benefits of the POLARISTAR Protection Plus Program?

    Parts: Parts are replaced with genuine new or rebuilt PURE Polaris parts when possible. Coverage includes fluids and labor when required as part of the covered repair.
    Rental: In the event of a covered mechanical breakdown, reimbursement for expenses incurred for substitute transportation at a maximum daily rental rate of $20 per day, not to exceed a total of six days.
    Pick Up: In the event of a covered mechanical breakdown, reimbursement for reasonable pickup charges, not to exceed $50, that you incur when having your Polaris vehicle picked up and taken to a repair facility.

    POLARISTAR Protection Plus benefits can be utilized at any Polaris Dealership across North America.


  7. Can I cancel the plan at anytime?

    Yes. Should you decide to cancel your POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract, refunding methods vary by state. Refer to a state-specific extended service contract for details.


  8. How do I cancel my plan?

    You must include date of cancellation, reason for cancellation and your signature.


  9. What happens if I sell or trade in my product?

    Your POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract is transferable once during its lifetime. See the contract for transfer instructions and fee.


  10. If I make modifications to my product, will my POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract still cover my product?

    Any modifications or alterations made to the unit that go beyond any factory installed PURE Polaris Parts or any part that would contribute to the mechanical or electrical failure of covered parts per your contract are not covered under the extended service contract.


  11. Can I transfer my plan from one unit to another?

    This plan cannot be transferred to different units.


  12. What products does the POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract cover?

    The POLARISTAR plan covers Polaris ATVs, Rangers, Snowmobiles, Breeze and Victory Motorcycles.


  13. How long do I have to purchase the POLARISTAR Protection Plus plan?

    This offer if valid while the manufacturer's Warranty is in force.


  14. Will I be able to renew the POLARISTAR Protection Plus Program?

    The POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract is non-renewable.


  15. Is my POLARISTAR Protection Plus plan accepted at all Dealerships?

    Yes, all authorized Polaris Dealers accept the POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract.


  16. I am thinking of buying a used unit from my Dealer. Can I buy a POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract plan?

    You can purchase a POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract from the Dealer. You must purchase POLARISTAR Protection Plus at the same time as you purchase your unit.


  17. Can I buy a POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract plan from my Dealer on my new unit?

    You can purchase a POLARISTAR Protection Plus contract from your Dealer as long as the unit is still under the manufacturer's Warranty.
